A true French horn!
This may be the best playing Vuillermoz model we’ve ever played. Made by Selmer in the 1960’s, these were the top professional level horns made in France since the 1930’s. While we mostly see these with an ascending 3rd valve, this horn has the more universally common descending 3rd, so no new fingerings!
In amazing shape and plays exceptionally well. Could use a cleaning and alignment.
Comes with the original case, 2 narrow shank mouthpieces, and the unique bayonet style bell flare instead of the common screw bell we see today. We recommend this mouthpiece made by Strachan Brass:

This horn was owned by Robert Sheldon, professional horn player and Curator of The Musical Instruments Collections for the Library of Congress and the Smithsonian.
