A great playing Kruspe Single F made around 1900. These horns were top professional instruments and still sound great today! This horn is in amazing shape for its age. One small patch on the flare. The horn was lacquered at some point which helped preserve the old metal.
This horn plays at A=435 which was a common pitch in the romantic era. Can get down to A=430 for period orchestra playing. A=440 or higher pitches would be possible with a shorter main slide.
