This 1920’s Bohland & Fuchs is quite special and an amazing player. Most posthorns are built in Bb for trumpet players, but this was custom made in F for a French horn player! In amazing shape for being 100+ years old, compression is spectacular.
This was originally purchased and played by the current owner’s great-grandfather in Austria, rare to know the provenance on instruments like this. It was likely custom made for his specific needs as no other examples of the design have been found.
