Here we have a professional King single F piston horn made for the United Stated Army during World War II. These were the last models of professional American single horns as the double horn took over soon after the war. These play surprisingly well with a great sound.
The horn plays great but does have dents, scratches, some loose braces, so being sold as is. The leadpipe is slightly bent. These all can be fixed for a fairly low cost from a repair tech.
A similar American single F piston horn was used during recent performances on national television at the national Memorial Day parade in Washington, D.C. and during Jimmy Carter’s funeral.
