An original Uhlmann!
Uhlmann was the best horn maker in Vienna for most of the 19th century and their instruments are highly sought after for being some of the best playing horns ever made. The horn has had a history of repairs, patches, dent work, etc., but this is a great sign that this horn was and still can be an amazing player with a professional restoration.
The crook is from the time period, likely not original. It does have cracks and plays in high pitch (A=461.5 which was common in Vienna during the time period) so we recommend getting a new crook made.
A rare chance to get an original Uhlmann as these rarely come up for sale. This horn is being sold as-is, no trials or returns.
