Rauch double horns are some of the best horns on the planet, now here’s a rare opportunity to get a Rauch natural horn! Only 2 were ever made, and this horn is in exceptional condition and plays very well.
This is a baroque horn pitched at A=415 (baroque pitch, half-step lower than A=440) for use in period orchestras. If one wanted it to play at A=440 Richard Seraphinoff could make crooks/couplers for use in modern orchestras.
Comes with a G crook, F crook, and couplers for D and C basso. These are the most common keys used for baroque repertoire. Also has 2 tuning bits.
Has 2 vent holes to help correct the intonation of the 11th (F/F#) and 13th (Ab/A) harmonics.
