F. Van Cauwelaert horns were some of the best instruments coming out of Belgium. These piston horns are still used today by different groups around the world. Comes with extra 3rd slide.
Doesn’t have a crook, but Miles O’Malley is building F crooks copied from an original Van Cauwelaert horn.
The horn is being sold as-is and will need some work. 1st and 2nd slides are stuck, one of the 3rd slide legs became unsoldered and is in the horn. Pistons need new corks/felt. Horn needs a cleaning and some dents, but nothing bad.
