To develop the Conn 8D Vintage (V8D), Conn had Chuck Ward come in to build a few prototypes based on the original 1937-1957 pre-letter Elkhart Conn 8D. This is one of those prototypes and is simply amazing! Handmade by Chuck Ward, rarely played and in like-new condition. Plays like a dream, ornate gold touches throughout the instrument.
