An amazing Conn 28D double horn made in 1950, recently serviced by Lucas Workman including valve job, cut bell, cleaning, and dent work. Ready to be played every day! Amazing player from the best years of Conn horns.
The 28D was first introduced in 1949 so this 390K serial number is from the 2nd year of production. It had 1 owner before we found the horn. Great shape, to our knowledge the only work done on this horn was the recent overhaul by Lucas Workman. The flare has signs of repairs but plays very well.
You likely won’t find another 28D from this early in this great of shape!
