Made in 1975, Alexander was experimenting with different designs and created this unique double horn with a large piston change valve and partly plastic rotors to reduce weight. This horn plays great – a testament to Alexander’s quality.
The horn is in wonderful shape for being 50 years old. It had 1 owner and was played professionally in the Ithaca, New York area. A few small dings but nothing that affects playability. The lever for the piston thumb is much more ergonomic than the Schmidt piston valve.
The original owner updated the horn with a custom leadpipe from Lawson.
