Here we have an amazing pre-letter Elkhart Conn 8D from 1960 in great condition! Plays very well, all original parts besides the aftermarket cut bell from Chuck Ward who also gave the horn a valve job to improve its compression. Played professionally, been sitting in a closet since 2016.
Lacquer wear and small dings, but in amazing shape otherwise for being 65 years old. Iconic Conn 8D sound, ready to be played every day!
Comes with a Marcus Bonna MB-5 Baby case and 3 mouthpieces (Moosewood B, Laskey 85 GW, Holton Farkas MDC).
