The Kruspe Wendler compensating double horn was one of the most popular instruments from the 1920’s-1950’s. The Boston Symphony Orchestra played on these horns as Wendler was a member of the orchestra. This horn is a Russian copy of that famous model, made in 1956 for the Orchestra of the Kremlin.

The original leadpipe is included in the sale, but it’s not in playable condition. A new leadpipe was made for the horn.
