Made in Duisburg, Germany, this unusual horn likely dates from the 1930s and is an early example of a single descant horn. The design is reminiscent of the early Alexander high F horn model but this one, being in high Eb, has a somewhat fuller sound. It takes a slightly smaller shank mouthpiece than modern and plays well with good intonation.
Part of the San Francisco Collection. This horn is with its owner and will be shipped directly from them.
